ON Consultancy Group Co-Founder, Jayne Nakata had the opportunity to represent New Zealand in Japan at the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise #madewithcare 「思いやりで、できている」 event to highlight the wonderful NZ made produce and products that are available in Japanese supermarkets.
As a long term resident of Fukushima Japan, Jayne has many years of experience in using NZ ingredients in her Japanese kitchen, fusing NZ and Japanese tastes into dishes and bentos for her two children and Japanese husband when she's not busy running a thriving podcast business and consultancy. Having lived through the tsunami, earthquake and nuclear meltdown that heavily affect Fukushima Prefecture in 2011, NZ "Made with Care" items in stores throughout Japan are a favourite for her and her family not only for a taste of home but for their top class quality.
One of the aims for the Jandals in Japan podcast is to give a voice to the stories of New Zealand businesses doing amazing things in Japan that have not been told.
